Ultra has taken
surprisingly few liberties with this NES conversion of
the goofy arcade game... it plays exactly like the
original, and even the graphics are pretty close
(although Q*Bert may want to see a doctor about that
droopy nose...). Brand new control setup options
let you customize the cube-hopping, snake-dodging,
disc-riding action to your liking. |

The beautiful but deadly
cosmic phenomenon known as the Qix is on an interstellar
rampage, and the only way to stop it is to contain the
menace by using a radioactive marker to draw an energy
barrier around it. If the unpredictable Qix
doesn't get you, the sparks circling the barrier almost
certainly will in this largely unchanged conversion of
the Taito arcade game. |
