Punch Out!! is the same enormously fun boxing game you remember from the 1980's, but with one key difference... this time, controversial fighter Mike Tyson is out of the picture.  He's been replaced with the more generic, but still immensely difficult Mr. Dream.  Everything else is the same, though, including the bright, colorful artwork and those larger than life characters.

The Punisher's his name, and slaughtering criminals while causing extensive property damage is his game.  You'll get an over the shoulder view of the action as tormented vigilante Frank Castle sprays dozens of punks with machine gun fire, demolishing crates, doors, and television sets in the process.  If you liked the comics, you're sure to get a thrill out of this.

The fairy tale feline sets off to explore the world in this rather underwhelming action game.  Puss 'n Boots lacks depth, technique, and creativity... you'll just be running through flat stages, using one of three weapons to dispatch generic enemies like bats and birds.  Even the bosses, as large as they are, won't stick with you for long.

FAST FACT:  Pero, the star of Puss 'n Boots, is the hero of a Japanese cartoon and one of the last characters to appear in the American television series Captain N: The Video Master.  Yeah, they were pretty hard up for guest stars in the last season of that show.

Don't let the deceptively simple gameplay fool you... Puzznic is as maddening as it is maddeningly addictive.  You'll pull your hair out trying to think of ways to slide the colored blocks in each stage together without being left with stray pieces.  Nevertheless, you'll have plenty of fun... even if you won't have much hair after you're finished.
